About
The person who writes your estimate
Roman Ivakhnenko writes the estimate. Trade partners run the licensed mechanical trades. There is no unnamed crew.
Who writes
Roman IvakhnenkoThe sheet is line items. Allowances stay allowances.
Who is on the job
Named tradesPlumbing, electrical, stone, tile, HVAC — under the contract.
Who takes the call
The same nameinfo@nircontracting.com until a number is assigned. We do not invent one.
NIR Solutions LLC is a residential general contractor based in Orange Village, OH 44022. The owner is Roman Ivakhnenko. The company is owner-operated. That is a working model, not a slogan: one person writes the estimate, one person is responsible for the job, one person takes the call. Trade partners do the specialized work — plumbing, electrical, stone, tile, HVAC — under that sheet. There is no rotating crew to photograph and no invented year on the wall.
Who writes the estimate
Roman writes it. The sheet is line items: demolition, trades, allowances marked as allowances, the city’s permit path, the down-payment rule under Ohio Revised Code 4722 on jobs over $25,000. If a number cannot be fixed yet, it is an allowance. It is not a round guess dressed as a total. Hidden conditions found after walls open are a change order you sign. They are not a surprise on the last invoice.
Who is on the job
Roman is the contractor of record. Trade partners run the licensed mechanical trades. You will not be handed to an unnamed superintendent. You will not be told “the crew” will decide. If a plumber or an electrician is on site, they are a named trade under the contract, registered in the city of the house when that city requires it. Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing trades hold Ohio licenses for those trades. A residential general contractor does not hold a statewide GC license, because Ohio does not issue one.
Who takes the phone
The same name. A phone number is not published on this site until it is assigned. Until then the contact is info@nircontracting.com and the estimate form. When a number exists, it will appear in the header, the dock, and the footer from one field. We do not invent a local number to look established.
What we can put on paper
Orange Village Contractor Registration #4235, through December 31, 2026. $1,000,000 general liability + contractors E&O. Work is pulled in the city of the house, not “statewide.” Ohio does not license residential general contractors at the state level. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling a phrase. We register municipally and we write estimates you can audit.
This is a service-area practice. There is no public street address. The base is Orange Village, Ohio 44022. Twelve cities east of Cleveland are on the list because those are the building departments we actually walk. We do not advertise the rest of the county as a courtesy.
How an estimate starts
You send the form or the email. The form asks for a budget band and a start window because those two fields tell us whether the job is a conversation or a drawing set. Roman walks the house when the job is real. Trade partners are brought after the sheet needs them, not before, and not as a tour. If the work is in a city other than Orange Village, registration in that city is a line on the path, not a surprise the week demolition was hoped for.
Every photograph on this site is from a job of ours, taken on site by the contractor with a phone. Each caption says what is in the frame and the month it was taken. Nothing is staged and nothing is stock; where a page has no photograph of its own, it says so instead of borrowing one.
What we will not invent: years on the market, a count of kitchens, reviews we do not have, a photographed crew, a state license that does not exist. The site sells the document — the estimate, the permit, the certificate — because that is what a household in this corridor is actually buying.
